We've lined up a fantastic series of events to get you in the holiday spirit, from trick-or-treating fun to a full-day wonderland celebration. Mark your calendars—you won't want to miss any of these festivities!

Trick or Treat on the Square: This Friday!

  • When: This Friday, October 31st, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

  • What: Bring your little goblins and ghouls downtown for a fun, safe Trick or Treat on the Square!

  • Presented by: Jackie Arreola Insurance, who will be handing out treat bags (allergen friendly bags available too in limited quantity).

  • Photo Op: Stop by the Washington Public Library where Madison Kay Photography will be set up to snap pictures of you & your fabulous costumes!

    Look for treats & tricks from 23 local businesses/organizations! We can’t wait!

December Delights

The holiday spirit continues into December with these cherished local events!

  • Candlelight Tour of Homes: Get into the holiday spirit and join the Washington Chamber of Commerce for their 34th Annual Tour of Homes, on December 5th & 6th. Get a peek into beautifully decked-out homes, while soaking in the local history and culture. This cherished tradition is sure to dazzle with its festive ambiance and stunning decor.

  • The Nutcracker Ballet: Presented by Elizabeth's Academy of Classical Ballet at the Washington Community Theater on December 12th at 6:30 PM & December 13th at 1:30 PM.

Lights of Love Trees

We have 120 trees this year and we’ll need your help to get them all up in Central Park! We hope to get the trees delivered on Nov 20 or 21, we typically start at 10a and provide lunch to all the helpers. If you’re interested in helping us, pencil in those dates and let us know!
