Welcoming Gray’s Pet Supply to Main Street!

This past Tuesday (July 23rd), Main Street Washington celebrated the grand opening of Gray’s Pet Supply here in downtown Washington! We are so excited to welcome them to the Main Street family!

In case you were not able to make it to the grand opening, fear not! Gray’s Pet Supply is open from 9am-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 9am-5pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays!

The store is open to everybody, including your furry companions! The inventory is continuously growing each week, and if you cannot find what you want, you can always fill out a request form in person!

Main Street Masters

If you haven’t already heard, there will be a huge event this weekend on the square! Come on down to the square on Saturday (July 27th) for Main Street Masters! The event will go from 10am-2pm, allowing you to come on down at anytime throughout the day!

This event, sponsored by LattaHarris, features a 21-hole putt-putt golfing experience for the whole family! By participating and completing your scorecard, you are then entered in for a chance to win some amazing prize baskets!

If that wasn't enough, you will also receive a grab bag to fill with goodies as you stroll around the square and visit your local businesses!

W.C.D.C.’s Summer Olympics

Today, the Summer Olympics started both in France and here in downtown Washington! W.C.D.C. Inc. hosted their own version of the Summer Olympics earlier today, drawing a large number of participants and observers as the games began! The turnout was fantastic, as it is every time!

In combined efforts with the Washington Farmers Market and Washington Lumber & Home Center, we wanted to chair with you the latest update in Central Park!

This addition is just the chairry on top throughout the Farmers Market season here in Downtown Washington! Come on down to the square to check it out, and be sure to tag us when you find it!

Independent Retailer Month & Coming Up Next

Just a friendly reminder that July is Independent Retailer Month! We value our local businesses here in Washington, and you should too! Come on down, and be sure to shop local and celebrate independent retailers throughout the month!

Next up for Main Street Washington is the Red Carpet Celebration at the new and improved Greiner's Plaza! Be sure to swing by next Friday (August 2nd) anywhere from 3pm-6pm!

P.S. If you didn’t know already, we have recently moved locations! Main Street Washington's main office is finally back on Main Street, and it is located in Suite 6 at the Greiner's Building! Be sure to come on in and visit us on the day of the big Red Carpet Celebration!
